ABOUT THE DESIGN
‘Reach out to me’ is intended combat the anti-social and self-isolating behaviors that one can take part in when experiencing mental health issues. Sometimes it feels like the last thing you want is to talk to someone, even though you know it’s what you need. Through this design, I was hoping to show how inescapable this mentality can be, almost like being stuck on a Ferris wheel with no way out. The front design completes this idea by showing the two hands meeting; there is hope and support to be found if you open yourself up to it.
